Students - Work Orders
Our goal is to provide superior service to our customers by utilizing the talent and tools we have at our disposal. To achieve this goal we must perform quality work and communicate in a timely and effective manner with our customers. Only through the combination of quality work and timely communications before, during and after the work is performed can we expect to provide the superior service that the Facilities Services holds as its standard.
Emergency Maintenance
Contact the Facilities Services Office at (309) 794-7278, Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. In the event of an emergency during off-hours, contact Campus Security at (309)794-7711.
Emergency situations are those that are life threatening or likely to cause severe damage to a college building or facility. Examples include, but aren’t limited to:
- Gas odor
- Power outages
- No heat
- Flooding or water leakage
Routine Maintenance Services
Coin operated washer/dryer work orders should be turned into Residential Life at (309)794-2686.
Ethernet, cable, and phone work orders should be turned into ITS-Helpdesk at (309)794-7293.
All non-emergency work requests should be submitted via the Work Order Request Form online. This form is to be used by students only.
Authorized work is scheduled based on the following Facilities Services system: Emergency, Essential Operations, Preventive Maintenance and Scheduled Work. Work may be performed by either in-house employees or by contractors. All questions concerning the status of work should be directed to Customer Service.
Customer Service Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
